A Break from the World
So, a week ago Sunday, I headed down to Charlotte with my son to see My Morning Jacket. It rained on us, there was a lightning storm and it was all quite fierce. Then the band came on. And, it was magic. To have my son standing on the seat, with his chin resting on my shoulder for much of the night, cheek-to-cheek, is irreplaceable. I wish you the same joy.
